Cousins and lifelong friends, Ben and Doug McLeod founded Modern Angle in 2017 with the goal of creating beautiful things for good people at a fair price.
Ben mcleod
After growing up in the construction industry, Ben has worn many hats from chef to union organizer. He returned to building, driven by a desire to create, think critically and work with his hands. When not spending time with his amazing family, catch Ben hiking Mt. Hood or shredding Meadows, depending on the season.
Doug mcleod
Doug fell in love with carpentry while pursuing a BA in economics from UMass, Amherst. After graduation he decided to put his math-skills to work in the field and has been building perfect staircases ever since! When not swinging hammer, catch Doug sinking putts at Heron Lakes, or watching New England sports teams win.
